Joseph R. Stacho

Joseph was born and raised in Naperville and is a proud alum of Naperville North High School. Growing up in Naperville, Joseph knows how hard small business owners work to thrive and be successful.

Prior to joining Winick and Gallaher, Joseph practiced insurance defense litigation in Chicago where he concentrated his practice in workers’ compensation, transportation, premises liability, and general liability tort defense. He logged countless hours inside courtrooms across the state of Illinois, gaining valuable litigation experience. Joseph realized his clients needed help with more than just litigation but was unable to assist them due to the narrow scope provided by the insurance coverage.

Now, Joseph is able to assist his clients with any issue they have, including business contracts, employer/employee disputes, business formation, succession planning, and estate planning.

Joseph attended Marquette University for his undergraduate degree and double majored in finance and economics. He earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2016. Later, he was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2018. Joseph was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2020 and now represents clients throughout the state of Wisconsin.

Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife, Diana, and their dog, Bucky. He also enjoys golfing, playing baseball, and watching his favorite sports teams, including the Chicago Cubs and Marquette Golden Eagles.
